AMAZE Space Camp 2023
Empowering the Next Generation of Space Explorers
The Astronaut Mission Adventure Zone (AMAZE) Space Camp 2023 was a groundbreaking week-long residential program that took place from August 27 to September 2, 2023, co-organized by the U.S. Embassy in Rabat in partnership with the Moroccan Initiative for Space Industry (MISI) and hosted at the prestigious 1337 Coding School & UM6P venue in Khouribga, Morocco. This immersive, hands-on experience was designed to spark passion for space exploration and technology among 30 carefully selected Moroccan students aged 15-18 years. The program featured our innovative TEAMS approach (Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics, Science, and Teamwork), focusing on hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, active learning, and shared knowledge. The camp's success led to international recognition, with research findings presented at the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Milan, Italy, validating its effectiveness in inspiring the next generation of space explorers and innovators.
