AMAZE Space Camp 2023
A Recap: Inspiring Morocco's Future Space Innovators (Ages 15-18)
Relive the Astronaut Mission Adventure Zone (AMAZE) Space Camp 2023: a transformative six-day residential program from August 27 to September 2, 2023. Co-organized with the U.S. Embassy and hosted at 1337 Coding School, 30 selected Moroccan students (15-18) embarked on an immersive journey through our TEAMS (Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, Science & Teamwork) approach, culminating in international recognition at the IAC 2024.
Our TEAMS Approach to Space Education
AMAZE Space Camp integrates Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics, Science, and crucial Teamwork into every aspect of our immersive learning experience, fostering holistic development for future innovators.
Technology
Utilizing VR simulations (ISS & space habitats), Mars rover programming, and Microsoft Flight Simulators for aeronautics training.
Engineering
Hands-on rocket workshops: from water rockets to solid-fuel C11/D engines with Arduino-based altitude computation payloads.
Art
Space-themed art projects, cultural integration with the 'Ithranaut' mascot, and workshops with renowned Moroccan artists like Bouchra Minour.
Mathematics
Applying orbital mechanics, mission planning calculations, and data analysis from experiments and simulations.
Science
Exploring astrobiology, environmental sustainability, CubeSats, and conducting Mars analog mission simulations.
Teamwork
Collaborative projects like the Mars Analog Mission, group challenges, and shared problem-solving to build leadership and communication skills.
