About Us

MISI

The Moroccan Initiative for Space Industry (MISI), a non-governmental organization created in Morocco in 2021, developed from the collaborative efforts of a diverse group of young individuals. This team comprises scientists, engineers, space industry experts, entrepreneurs, and devoted STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) outreach program managers.

Our mission is to contribute to the development and fostering of a vibrant, inventive environment that encourages the growth and expansion of Morocco's space industry, bridging national efforts with African and International collaboration.

Stakeholder Engagement & Network Building

MISI organizes AMESC 2025, uniting 700+ stakeholders from 30+ countries. We co-organized the 6th AF-SGW, engaging 120 representatives from 23 nations and 5+ international space agencies.

National & International Connections

We collaborate with prominent Moroccan institutions and key international organizations. These partnerships facilitate knowledge exchange among students and professionals globally.

Technical Projects with Strategic Relevance

Our ExoLab-Mor connects Moroccan students with the ISS. We're developing lunar habitat concepts and collaborating on a Lunar Automated Rover project.

Understanding of Local Context

Our diverse team brings global perspective to Morocco's space sector. We've conducted studies bridging international initiatives with local needs across key sectors.

Outreach & Community Engagement

We participate in major space events and organize the AMAZE Space Camps. These initiatives engage professionals and students, fostering collaboration.

Our Impact

Since 2021, MISI has catalyzed Morocco's space sector development through innovative projects, international partnerships, and educational initiatives.
