About us

MISI

The Moroccan Initiative for Space Industry (MISI), a non-governmental organization created in Morocco in 2021, developed from the collaborative efforts of a diverse group of young individuals. This team comprises scientists, engineers, space industry experts, entrepreneurs, and devoted STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) outreach program managers. The mission of MISI is to contribute to the development and the fostering of a vibrant and inventive environment that encourages the growth and expansion of Morocco’s space industry.

MISI focuses on stimulating innovation in space-based solutions, tackling regional concerns such as resource management and environmental monitoring, and promoting the creation of a competent space workforce. Through these comprehensive programs and activities, MISI aims to serve as a pivotal bridge between industry, academia, and the public. This mission crosses national lines, trying to weave solid threads of collaboration with African and International partners to enhance the regional capacities.
